Andy Jones steps down from Victorian Sliders

by Sophie Stevens

Andy Jones has stepped down as group managing director at Victorian Sliders ‘to pursue new opportunities’.

It follows a period of rapid growth for the PVC-U sash window supplier, which has recently added more than 50 new staff to cope with demand for its popular EcoSlide sash window.

Andy commented: “Since my appointment as group MD in 2019 we have embarked on an investment strategy that has enabled us to scale the business rapidly, and we have seen a real transformation during that time and we’re on track for 70% growth.”

“However, the nature of the role and location requires a regular 500 mile round-trip and so it is time for me to explore new challenges and opportunities. I leave the business in great shape and on a rapid growth trajectory.”

Victorian Sliders is a vertically integrated PVC-U sash manufacturer with in-house extrusion, glass processing, manufacturing and recycling, operating from a state-of-the-art 250,000ft2 site in South Wales and a number of major distribution hubs across the UK and Ireland.

Founder Scot Starkey said: “Andy has brought a great deal of management expertise to the business and been instrumental in our recent growth. We would like to thank him for his contribution to our company and we wish him well as he pursues new opportunities.”
