Rocal Group, which includes Rocal Insulating Panels, Rocal Indoor, Rocal Foiling, Rocal SIPs, Rocal Extrusions and the Endurance Doors brand, has been acquired by the existing management team from the previous owners, James and Sandra Longley.
The transaction was completed on the 2nd March 2021 and led by the management team with financial guidance from Forrester Boyd, legal advice from Bridge McFarland and financial support from Aldermore Bank. The management team that has acquired the group comprises of Stephen Nadin, managing director, along with Alison Jenkin, group accountant, Garry Brewin, operations director and Kevin Ashe, production director.
There are three distinct parts to Rocal Group, including Endurance Doors, which supplies timber core composite doors to over 1,000 installers across the UK.
Secondly, Rocal Extrusions, specialises in the manufacture of plastic extrusions, decorative wrapping and secondary operations which also support the Endurance Doors product proposition.
Thirdly, Rocal Door Panels manufactures PVC-U door panels under the brand names of Aboda and Impressions and supplies PVC-U window and door manufacturers across the UK.
Rocal Group maintains that the change in ownership will see a continuation of its business strategy and sustained investment programme, ‘with strong objectives for the future direction of the business and a company-wide commitment towards product innovation and exemplary customer care’.
