Kenrick has upgraded its Excalibur XL window locking system in direct response to customer feedback, including additional fixing points incorporated through the gearbox faceplate.
Sales and marketing director Suzanne Nicholl said: “[Customers] asked whether we could incorporate additional fixing points through the gearbox faceplate and we listened. It’s a simple change that delivers a genuine practical benefit for fabricators.”
One customer immediately recognised the changes, describing the new design as ‘brilliant’ and highlighting the fabrication efficiencies it delivers compared with the previous product.
Excalibur XL combines patented high-security bi-directional claw locking with steel shoot bolts and profile-related keeps with a night vent facility. Available with 20mm, 22mm and 25mm backsets, the system is PAS24 capable and suitable for Secured by Design specifications.
Tested to 100,000 operating cycles and a minimum of 240 hours salt spray testing, Excalibur is backed by a 10-year mechanical guarantee.
