SheerGlide, the new inline patio from Sheerline, is now available with an enhanced security upgrade. The patio achieved PAS 24 accreditation, which is offered as standard on all Sheerline products, but homeowners can now request a Secured by Design (SBD) upgrade.
Modifications ensure SheerGlide is secure. This includes TwinLock, which is the first single component interlock, combining both security and thermal efficiency. It’s strong and fully thermally broken, and at 38mm, it maintains the slim aesthetic homeowners expect, the company said.
It’s non-bonded to make it easier to manufacture, transport, and install. Other security features including the modular ‘quad’ hooklock provided by Ingenious Locks & Hardware, which delivers exceptional levels of reliable security and operation.
Sheerline’s Ben Hartshorn said: “We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved and we’re already working on the next stage of development.”
