Kenrick strengthens team to satisfy demand

Hardware supplier Kenrick has reshaped its business and strengthened its team to meet continued demand for its range of window and door locking systems.

The West Bromwich-based firm has promoted former Design and Operations Manager Martin Smith to the position of General Manager, and former Commercial Manager Sandra Hewitt to the role of Assistant General Manager. Martin and Sandra will lead the business going forward as it enters an exciting phase of growth.

Martin Smith said: “I’m proud to be a part of Kenrick and am delighted to take on the role of general manager at Kenrick. The quality and innovation of its range of products is second to none and is equally matched by a committed and talented team of people – one that I believe is the best team of any hardware company in the industry.

“We have a proud heritage dating back to 1791, but we’re also a forward-thinking and future-focused business. And we’re evolving to become more relevant to the market and more responsive to our customers. I’m looking forward to the future and helping Kenrick to maximise the many market opportunities that lie ahead.”

Kenrick has also made a hat trick of new appointments within the business. With more than 15 years’ experience in the industry, Martin Burrows has joined as Technical Engineer, while Matt Downing has come on board as Product Designer. Jamie Janes has also joined the business as Sales Administrator.

Kenrick is a leading supplier of hardware solutions for PVCu, aluminium and timber window and door systems. The company has a proud heritage spanning more than 200 years, having been established by Archibald Kenrick who manufactured buckles and livery fittings. Kenrick’s range of top-quality products includes the Excalibur multi-point locking system, the four-point Centurion system and the Easifit and Espagnolette locking systems.
